Christian А. Schwarz (born in 1960) is the director of the International Natural Church Development Institute. His books on theory and practice of natural church development have been published in more than 50 countries. In 1994 - 1996 he led an extensive world-wide research project trying to determine universal principles of church growth. Christian Schwarz studied theology in Bochum, Bethel, Wupertal, Meinz and Pasadena. Currently he and his family reside in northern Germany.
