Christian Youth Camp for Creative Arts (CYCCA) This is an entirely new opportunity for serving out Lord! We would like to share a new idea which was born in the city of Nizhny Novgorod: the idea of holding music camps with the purpose of communicating the Good News through musicals on biblical themes. At the present time we have a team of ten camp staff and volunteers working on this project. In two years the initiative has grown stronger, acquiring some solidity, and our team has grown in experience and enthusiasm. All of us are staff workers of the inter-denominational Christian organisation «Agape Center», at the same time belonging to different churches of the city. Camp participants also come from different churches and sometimes even from different countries. They are young people from 14 to 18 years old. During the camp week, together with the camp staff, they try to carry out the central idea of the camp, producing a new musical and performing it before various audiences throughout the city and the region. Another goal that we set for ourselves is to bring out the creative potential of our young people (through sports, arts and crafts, dance, drama, singing etc) as well as foster their spiritual growth and teach them to tell others about God in the language of creative arts.
